Free BMX, scooter and skateboard coaching and competitions

Skate Waverley

Skate Waverley offers the opportunity for young people to be coached by the pros, watch demonstrations and show off their new tricks.

Who can join in?

Whether you are a beginner or an expert, anyone between seven and 16 can drop in for a few hours or come for the full day, take part or watch some stunts performed by the pros.

A selection of safety equipment and skateboards will be provided free for use on the day.

Skate Waverley 2018

Skate Waverley returned in 2018, with 116 participants over the four parks. Special thanks go to the Cranleigh Lions, Places Leisure, Haslemere Town Council and Godalming Town Council who helped fund the event. Waverley Borough Council would also like to thank King Ramps, whose expertise guided newcomers with their first time on the ramps, providing equipment and coaching, while emphasising the importance in keeping the parks clean. Workshops concluded with competitions and demonstrations from the pros.
