Local Plan 2002

We adopted the Local Plan 2002 in 2002 and is in the process of being replaced by Waverley's new Local Plan.

Local Plan 2002

Saved and retained policies

From 28 September 2007, some of the policies in the Local Plan 2002 ceased to have effect. The remaining policies continue to be part of the development plan and are known as 'Saved Policies'. View the schedule of saved policies and the list of policies which have been removed from the plan.

Local Plan Part 1: Strategic Policies and Sites has been adopted by the Council and replaces a number of policies from the Local Plan 2002. Some policies from the Local Plan 2002 have been retained until the adoption of Local Plan Part 2: Site Allocations and Development Management Policies. View a list of retained policies.
