Children and young people

There are a number of services which provide advice, support and leisure opportunities for children and young people across Waverley:

Sure Start children’s centres give help and advice on child and family health, parenting, money, training and employment.

Some centres also provide early learning and full day care for pre-school children.

Mental health

CAMHS is the child and adolescent mental health service in Surrey - also known as Mindsight Surrey CAMHS.

CAMHS promotes emotional wellbeing and delivers preventative mental health services and treatment to children and young people with mental health problems.

Healthy lifestyle

Alive N Kicking is commissioned by Surrey County Council to deliver healthy lifestyles programmes to children aged 5-19 years who are on/above 91st centile.

Waverley Borough Council is committed to safeguarding our community so it is a safe place for all to live in.

Working in partnership with the Surrey Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), we aim to make sure that those using its services are listened to and protected from abuse and neglect.
