We received a decision on the appeal from the Planning Inspectorate on 11 January 2022:

"The appeal is allowed and planning permission is granted for demolition of Hollyoak and erection of 99 residential dwellings (including 30% affordable housing), associated highway and landscape works, and removal of oak subject to Tree Preservation Order 20/20 at land west of Loxwood Road, Alford, Surrey in accordance with the terms of the application, Ref WA/2020/1684, dated 30 October 2020, and the plans submitted with it, subject to the conditions set out in the Schedule attached to this decision."
