Waverley Borough Council is carrying out a Polling District Review (PDR) following the latest ward boundary review by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) and the Community Governance Review (CGR). New borough ward and parish boundaries have been created for Waverley.
They proposed that Waverley should now be represented by 50 councillors across 24 wards from May 2023. This is a reduction from 57 councillors across 29 wards. The councillors will now respresent 5 three-councillor wards, 16 two-councillor wards, and 3 single-councillor wards across the borough.
As a result of the new ward arrangements, it was necessary for the authority to undertake a full review of all polling districts and polling places for the new wards.
