Test and Trace Support Payment

Please be aware any tests taken after midnight on 23 February are no longer eligible for the payment.

If you have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace or by the NHS COVID-19 app prior to 24 February 2022, you may be entitled to a payment of £500 from Waverley Borough Council through the Test and Trace Support Payment scheme.

You can apply if you are on benefits or on low income and face financial hardship if employed or registered self-employed.

Please note, if a claim for NHS Test and Trace funding is being made, a confirmatory PCR test is required, and will need to be taken within 2-4 days of the lateral flow result. This also applies to children if parents are claiming for taking time off to care for them.

Once you have made your application, you should receive a confirmatory email with a copy of your application and an FS number.

We will not be able to make a payment without the PCR result and NHS Test and Trace account ID. (If you are applying to claim due to caring for a child, please include both the child's and parent/guardian's NHS Test and Trace account ID.)

If you are double vaccinated and had a positive COVID-19 PCR test (prior to 24 February 2022) you can also apply but not if you're only a contact.

The application form will close on 6 April 2022.
