Cranleigh music festival

Location: Cranleigh

Time:

Cost: £20 in advance; £25 on the day

Friday's Cranleigh music festival will start with local youth bands, followed by some fantastic tribute bands.

Cranleigh Music Festival will start late afternoon when youth bands from around the local area will entertain the crowds, culminating in a performance from local young singer songwriter Richard James Poll.

Then, there is music from two very different tribute acts. With their magnificent repertoire of over 400 songs The Overtures have rapidly built their reputation as the finest 60s tribute band in the country followed by Platinum ABBA which was formed as a 6-piece band in 1997 with the sole aim of becoming the best ever "ABBA" tribute act.  Having thrilled audiences throughout the world, Platinum ABBA have firmly established themselves in the super-league of tribute entertainment.

The evening will be compered by 'Diddy' David Hamilton.
