Gender Equality Scheme

Our Gender Equality Scheme has been produced using the priorities set out in the Council's Corporate Plan. 

The purpose of our Gender Equality Scheme is to:

• show how we will mainstream gender equality in all areas of our work
• meet and seek to go beyond the legal duties to make gender equality a reality, and
• set out priorities on how we intend to tackle gender inequality, eliminate discrimination and promote equality of opportunity between women and men.
