People often contact Waverley in what they consider an emergency.  This may be a life emergency, - for example the need for an urgent repair if a Waverley tenant, or to report a problem in the community.

Waverley Borough Council has an Emergency Planning role in major civil emergencies, and has statutory responsibilities to work alongside our first responder partners such as Surrey Police & Surrey Fire and Rescue Service to assist in the response and to lead the recovery  - and eventual return to the status quo following any major incident. In the event of a major incident Waverley would open its Borough Emergency Control Centre.

We are committed to providing information and advice to our residents and businesses about any potential emergency. During any major incident the latest emergency information will be posted on this website and updated constantly.
