Travel free off-peak

Older and disabled people eligible for a bus pass can travel free off-peak (usually after 9.30am) on buses across the whole of England (including London).

Use the bus pass application form to apply for a bus pass.

With extra funding from Waverley Borough Council local bus pass holders can travel free at additional times on their local buses. The start time of free travel across most of Surrey for older people is 9am on weekdays, and eligible disabled people can travel free all day. This is particularly helpful in our rural communities where bus timetables are limited.

Surrey County Council has produced a leaflet explaining more about the Concessionary National Bus Travel Scheme for Surrey Residents.  See the downloads for a link.
