As part of this year’s Living Well Week, Waverley Borough Council is hosting a Living Well Event at the Godalming Borough Hall on Saturday 30 September, 10am-2pm.

The free event features stalls, activities, samples and competitions from a range of health and wellbeing services providing information, support and advice in a range of areas. From relaxing massages and nutritional treats to mini squash tasters and trying a new instrument, there’s something for everyone.

Kicking off on the same day, Living Well Week runs from 30 September to 6 October. It is an opportunity to sample some of the services available across the borough that can help you to live well and enjoy life now.

Councillor Jenny Else, Portfolio Holder for Health, Wellbeing and Culture, said:  “The week is an opportunity to make and celebrate small changes, help everyone feel good and improve their health by taking advantage of all the opportunities available locally. Simple things such as exploring healthier food options for the whole family and finding an activity that you enjoy can make a real difference. Being active is a great way to meet up with friends and meet new people.”
