Deadline looming for residents’ views on Waverley’s Core Strategy
We want your views on the proposed Core Strategy for Waverley

The deadline for comments on the Core Strategy is approaching. This is your chance to have your say on future building and development in the borough.
The deadline for residents to tell Waverley Borough Council their views on its future building and development plans is getting ever closer.
The Core Strategy is a plan that will be used to decide future planning applications and other developments in the borough up to 2028, and includes specific policies on subjects such as the numbers and locations of houses being built.
If you would like to have input on the future of key issues and challenges facing Waverley, your response is required by 5pm on Friday 5 October 2012.
Only representations made before this time will be considered; late responses will not be accepted.
How to respond
There are a number of ways you can respond:
You can view the document and comment online, via our consultations portal. Please note that to submit your comments you will need to register with the website, if you have not already done so. If you have, please use your existing username and password. If you do register you can choose to be notified of future events and consultations.
- By downloading a comment form
You can also download the document and comment form, which can be filled in electronically and emailed to planningpolicy@waverley.gov.uk.
- By printing the comment form and posting it
Although the use of the online options above is encouraged, you can also print the form to complete by hand and post to: Core Strategy Consultation, Planning Services, Waverley Borough Council, The Burys, Godalming, GU7 1HR.
- By going to the Waverley offices
A copy of the document and comment forms will be available at the Planning Reception at the main Waverley office in Godalming, as well as the Locality Offices in Farnham, Haslemere and Cranleigh.
The document can also be inspected at Farnham, Godalming, Haslemere, Cranleigh and Bramley Libraries; however, comment forms cannot be collected or submitted here; they must be returned to any of the Council Offices.
