Residents are being invited to view and comment on Waverley Borough Council’s proposed new corporate strategy.
The council has been working to prepare the new document to replace the previous Corporate Plan and wants to hear any views before it is considered for adoption by the council’s Executive Committee and Full Council.
The strategy sets out the council’s proposed priorities and goals for the next five years around three key themes; People, Place and Prosperity. It will support the council’s vision of the borough as: “an attractive and prosperous place to live, work and visit. A place where our residents can take pride in their communities and where there are opportunities for all to thrive and lead healthy lives. A place that is valued by its community and supported by quality public services.”
The draft strategy is due to be considered by the Council’s Executive on 10 July and at the Full Council meeting on 17 July.
