If you are not currently registered to vote, please make sure you are by Monday 27 November to vote in the forthcoming by-elections.
Contested by-elections to elect one councillor for the Godalming Central and Ockford Borough ward and one councillor for the Central and Ockford ward of Godalming Town Council will be held on Wednesday 13 December 2017. Polling hours will be from 7am until 10pm. Poll cards providing polling station information for those electors eligible to vote will be despatched around 20 November 2017.
New applications to register to vote must be made by Monday 27 November by going to www.gov.uk/register-to-vote or by contacting Waverley Borough Council’s elections team on 01483 523116. You do not have to register to vote if you have received a poll card for these elections.
Postal vote applications must be received by 5pm on Tuesday 28 November and applications to vote by proxy must be received by 5pm on Tuesday 5 December. Application forms for postal and proxy votes can be downloaded from www.waverley.gov.uk/elections or can be requested by contacting the elections team.
