As part of plans to improve a number of Waverley owned car parks the council’s contractors will be relining the bays at Crown Court Car Park in Godalming during April.

All 300 existing bays in the car park will be repainted in order to freshen up the area and provide clearer linage. What’s more, all of the disabled bays will be expanded to the recommended width of 2.4m, with 1.2m either side, to allow for easy access and there will be one additional disabled space added to the car park.

The works will be carried out during the evenings of Tuesday 19 April and Wednesday 20 April in order to minimise disruption.

Work will begin around 6.30pm and will go on until around 10.30pm. Motorists should be aware there will be limited parking during this time as parts of the car park will be closed to the public.
