The Core Strategy forms part one of the new Local Plan, which will replace the current Local Plan (2002). It will set out policies relating to the location, scale and timing of future development up to 2028.

When will the Core Strategy be adopted?
The timetable for preparing the Core Strategy is detailed within the Local Development Scheme (LDS) and is also summarised below.
