Waverley Borough Council

LDF Timetable (Local Development Scheme)

Introduction to the LDF timetable

Unlike the old Local Plan which was a single document, the Local Development Framework (LDF) consists of a number of individual documents which will be written and reviewed as part on an ongoing programme of work.

The timetable for this work is outlined in the Local Development Scheme (LDS). This is in effect a rolling work programme which outlines what documents will be produced over the next three years. It is generally reviewed on an annual basis and has to be submitted to and approved by the Government.

Please Note: There has been slippage in the timetable agreed under the Local Development Scheme (July 2009). Please see the table below for a more up-to-date timetable.

Review

The Local Development Scheme (LDS) is generally reviewed on an annual basis to show a three-year rolling programme. The LDS (2007) has now been reviewed. A revised scheme was agreed by the Council's Executive Committee on the 31 March 2009 and formally agreed by the Government Office for the South East in July 2009.
