The new Local Plan: Part One
Waverley currently has more than 50,000 homes but the Government's methodology shows that we may need to find space for around 8,500 more homes between 2014 and 2031. This means that almost all the towns and villages in Waverley will have to find space for a least some new housing.
The last new Local Plan consultation took place between 3 September - 17 October 2014
This consultation is now closed
To help us develop our new Local Plan, we consulted on some alternative approaches to delivering new housing in Waverley. The consultation was called "Potential Housing Scenarios and Other Issues for the Waverley Local Plan".
You can view the responses that we had on the Local Plan Consultation Portal.
Please note that many of these submitted on the feedback forms are still being entered and will be available as soon as possible.
You can also register on the portal to be informed of any future Planning Policy consultations. If you have made a representation to this, or any other policy consultation, you will already be registered.
