Changes to car parks in Waverley

Changes to car parks in 2012

From 1 February 2012:

  • Charging period at each pay and display car park was extended by one hour to 7pm.  You will need to purchase a pay and display ticket between the hours of 8am - 7pm Monday to Saturday including a bank holiday.  Car parks are free of charge on a Sunday.
  • Charges at many car parks have changed.  Some fees have increased, some have reduced. Please see car park charges for a full breakdown of charges.
  • If you park at Station Lane in Milford you will need to pay 10p for up to two hours or £1.50 for more than two hours.  If you need to park there for work, you can apply for an annual season ticket at a discounted price of £86 a year.
  • Blue badge holders to park free of charge in all standard Waverley car parking spaces. A maximum stay of three hours will be applied to each reserved bay (marked in yellow) for blue badge holders. This is being done to ensure these important spaces are regularly freed-up for those who need them most.
  • A mini bus or community transport vehicle (of up to 14 seats) will be permitted to park by prior arrangement and on display of a pay and display ticket for each bay that the vehicle has parked in. Please telephone the parking office in advance on 01483 523408.
