Local Plan Part 1 Preparation
The Council undertook a consultation on the Pre-Submission Local Plan Part 1: Strategic Policies and Sites between 19 August and 3 October 2016. You can view the responses made by chapter, or if you prefer, you can view the whole list of respondents in alphabetical order and search for those that you want to read.
A number of responses were received on pre-printed postcards. These were treated in the same way as all other responses and can be viewed on this spreadsheet.
The Waverley Borough Local Plan Part 1: Strategic Policies and Sites was submitted to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government on 21 December 2016 for independent examination.
A number of core documents were submitted to the Secretary of State in accordance with Regulation 22 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 as well as other supporting documents.
The Planning Inspector appointed to the examination of Local Plan Part 1: Strategic Policies and Sites by the Secretary of State was Mr Jonathan Bore. The Examination took place between submission in December 2016 and the publication of the Inspector's report in February 2018.
