Waverley Design Awards

The Waverley Design Awards scheme was introduced in 1995, to encourage an interest in the quality of the built and natural environment of our Borough.

The scheme also promotes an awareness of the need for high standards in design including planning, architecture, sustainable development and landscaping.

Education is also an important element of the Design Awards. Students, schools, colleges, the university and youth groups and societies are encouraged to take part in the categories developed specifically to recognise high standard of education relevant to the built and natural environment.

The awards are made every two years and 2015 celebrated the eleventh scheme. A wide range of projects are eligible, and anyone can nominate a scheme.
