An established Training organisation of nearly 30 years, Waverley Training Services are committed to delivering nationally recognised qualifications to the local community and businesses in partnership with City & Guilds, ILM, Lantra and NCFE awarding organisation.

Working with businesses offering professional apprenticeship schemes. These schemes are tailored to suit the individual company needs and requirements. WTS support both the learners and employers throughout their qualifications with fully competent staff.

For those young people unemployed up to the age of 24 we can offer free training to help them move towards and better, more secure future be this in employment or futher education.

Who we are

Waverley Training Services is not-for-profit division of Waverley Borough Council. With centres in Farnham and Godalming. Waverley Training Services have been serving the local community with excellent training programmes and apprenticeship schemes for nearly 30 years. 

What we do

Apprenticeships

The service works closely with local businesses, to deliver apprenticeships and NVQ training, using Government funding wherever possible. The programmes offered are relevant and tailored to each business. Alongside the NVQ portfolio and the underpinning knowledge Technical Certificate the qualifications include key and funcational skills in Maths, English and ICT. 

Training Programmes

WTS offers a variety of training courses for young people between the ages of 16-24 who are unemployed. We are here to help young people in this age group to gain qualifications and build confidence helping them to make steps towards either employment for further education.

If so, here at Waverley Training Services we can help you find a course to match your skills and ambitions. We have a wide range of courses available. We offer a variety of resources and specialist support and you can choose from a number of qualifications and programmes including Foundation Learning for those not at work or in education.

For Business

Does your business need to improve its productivity, profitablity and staff motivation? Improving the skills of your key asset - your staff - is one way of achieving this. We recognise that your company training budgets may be limited, we will work closely with you to ensure that qualifications are delivered and subsidised by Government funding wherever possible. The programmes we offer will be relevant and tailored to your business. Alongside our qualifications we can offer key and/or functional skills in Maths, English and ICT.
