Waverley's plans for museums
Museums are an important theme in our Cultural strategy for 2009 - 2013.
What are our key aims?
1. Looking after our collections
We will continually improve the standard of our collections management.
2. Improve access to our collections
We will improve access to our collections by developing the website, and expanding our outreach and education work.
3. Develop our formal and informal learning programmes
We will develop and improve our education programmes and work to expand our audiences
4. Encourage people to explore their family history
We will improve the website to give guidance to resources and methods of research.
5. Protect Waverley's cultural heritage
We will seek external funding to encourage the investigation and preservation of Waverley's cultural heritage.
