Hiring the Garden Gallery at The Museum of Farnham
The Garden Gallery and Education Room at the Museum of Farnham is available to hire for exhibitions, talks, lectures and other special events. The Gallery and Education Room have a moveable acoustic partition between them. This means you can hire either one of the smaller spaces, or both spaces without the partition therefore creating one large space.
The maximum capacity of the venue is 60 people seated, 80 people standing or 70 people seated in a theatre/lecture style.

Rates of hire for 2012
Includes the hire of the room, tables, chairs, kitchen (including a sink, fridge, 2 kettles and a microwave) and disabled toilets including a baby change.
For an extra cost we also have available an audio visual facility (DVD/CD/Computer presentations), crockery, cutlery, tea pots/cafetieres and urn (20litres).
Teas and coffees can also be provided and served for meetings.
Note: Evening, Sunday & Monday hire includes private access to the Museum Gardens. Private access to the Gardens during Museum hours can also be arranged.

Conditions of length of Hire
Minimum hire = 2 hours
Sunday minimum hire = 3 hours
The Garden Gallery and premises must be vacated by midnight. If music is being played, whether recorded or live, the Museum will have to acquire a temporary license at no extra cost. This also applies to the sale of alcohol.
When hiring the Garden Gallery for public courses then an extra 30 minutes must be added to allow for setting and cleaning up. An additional hour must be added for private parties. Setting up and taking down exhibitions must also be factored into the hire period.
Hire charges are variable depending on specific requirements.
Please note: all bookings will be subject to terms and conditions and a booking deposit of £25 which must accompany the Booking Form. An additional deposit of £100 for any damage to the Gallery plus a deposit of £30 for access to the Garden Gallery outside Museum hours. All are refundable except for the booking deposit unless the Museum is notified 1 month before proposed date of hire.
