Temporary exhibitions at the Museum of Farnham

Alongside the permanent displays, the Museum of Farnham has a constantly changing programme of free temporary exhibitions.

Current temporary exhibitions at the Museum of Farnham are:

Unearthing Farnham

17 January 2012 - 28 April 2012

An exciting new temporary exhibition which lets you  explore Farnham's fascinating archaeological past.

Find out about Mammoths, Roman rituals, Medieval castles, flint tools and see newly discovered material never before exhibited. This exhibition explores some of the famous and not so famous archaeological sites in and around Farnham and the people who first unearthed them.

A variety of archaeological events will be held to complement the exhibition and a free activity trail can be picked up at the museum.

This exhibition was kindly sponsored by the Farnham & District Museum Society.

Winds of Change: The changes in women's fashion from 1905-1925

02 March - 30 March 2012

A one off exhibition featuring ladies clothes from the period which brought you Birdsong and Downton Abbey. These items are rarely placed on display due to their delicate nature so do not miss your chance to see outfits from this revolutionary period of fashion.
