How to find The Museum of Farnham
The Museum of Farnham is located at the Alton end of West Street in the centre of the town.
Our nearest car park is in the Lower Hart (next to Waitrose). There is two hour parking outside the Museum if you are very lucky!
Coaches can drop off and pick up outside the Museum, and there are coach spaces in The Hart next to the public toilets.
Farnham Station is about 15 minutes walk away.
Access
- the main entrance to the Museum has two steps

there is a separate level entrance for wheelchair users and the ground floor is wheelchair accessible

the first floor is reached by low rising stairs in three stages which are manageable for visitors with restricted mobility

there is a wheelchair accessible toilet on the ground floor

there is wheelchair access to the garden which is level with gravelled pathways

there are large print guides to the Museum, available at the reception desk

magnifying sheets are available in the Local Studies Library

most importantly, we have a helpful team of staff who are always happy to assist where possible!
Temporary exhibitions are not accessible to visitors with severe mobility problems.
