Sheltered Housing
Sheltered Housing Schemes in Waverley
Waverley has fully sheltered schemes throughout the towns and villages of the Borough. They offer secure council tenancies that provide self-contained accommodation and communal facilities. They are suitable for vulnerable older people and others who may be vulnerable or have disabilities.
All the schemes provide a high level of support as part of our Supporting People service. This means our fully sheltered service provides homes for life; that is, you may continue to live in your home and do not have to move on to residential care for housing reasons.
The Supporting People service aims to provide you, as a tenant of sheltered housing, with the confidence and resources to live as independently as possible in your own home and to help you enjoy a good quality of life.
