Fresh meals direct to your door
The Community Meals Service is for people who need help to make sure they regularly have nutritious cooked meals. You can book for a few weeks or sign up for as long as you want, it’s up to you.
Can I get a meal?
If you have a disability or a short or long term illness or need some extra help, get in touch.
How does it work?
The centres provide a hot, freshly cooked and healthy meal with optional afternoon tea five days a week. Clients are able to request frozen meals for weekends and bank holidays. Specialist diabetic and vegetarian options are also available.
Meals are delivered ready to eat between 12 and 2pm, on weekdays. We can't give you exact delivery times but, generally, our volunteer drivers will be with you around the same time every day and will make sure you're okay before they leave.
Hot meal and dessert – £5.50
Tea time snack – £3.25
Frozen weekend meal and dessert - £5.50
Each month you'll get an invoice for the meals you've had.
