Wool and haberdashery reuse
Unwanted wool can be donated to a local retirement home, day centre or children's playgroup for their use. If you are unable to reuse it, this would need to be placed in the normal wheeled bin.
Old or unwanted sewing machines can be sent to the reuse charity Tools for Self Reliance, who will send the machines to Africa. The address is as follows:Tools for Self Reliance, Netley Marsh, Southampton, SO40 7GY, tel: 02380 869697.
