Garden chemical disposal
Garden chemicals are hazardous and need to be disposed of carefully. Unwanted garden chemicals can be taken to a Community Recycling Centre, but please ensure that they are identified to the staff there as hazardous waste. Don't try to pour either diluted or undiluted chemicals down the drain. This can seriously affect the treatment of water at the sewage plant.
The local Community Recycling Centres are located at:
- Bourne Mill Community Recycling Centre, Guildford Road, Farnham, GU9 9PS
- Nanhurst Community Recycling Centre, Elmbridge Road, Cranleigh, GU6 8JX
- Witley Community Recycling Centre, Petworth Road, Witley, GU8 5QW
