It is possible to receive bank statements electronically these days, but if this is not an option you might consider using a home shredder.
Shredded paper can then be recycled in your mixed recycling blue wheelie bin collected from the kerbside providing that it is enclosed in an envelope or box. It can also be recycled in any of our 21 cardboard recycling banks.
If you have a large amount of paper work, you might consider contacting a data shredding company by looking on the internet or telephone directory.
