Walks for Health

Walks for Health are your opportunity to enjoy your local environment whilst meeting other people. Walks take the pace of the slowest person, but the aim is increase your heart rate and to get you active. Walk locations include Cranleigh, Farnham, Godalming and Haslemere.

GP exercise referral scheme

GPs and Health Professionals can refer appropriate patients to a qualified exercise specialist. The specialist devises and delivers a 12-week tailored exercise programme for the patient, at a reduced price.

Weight Management Scheme

Adults - The weight management scheme is a 12-week programme designed to help you to lose weight by eating a healthy diet and being more physically active and takes place at our leisure centres. More information on the weight management scheme.  

Young People - Alive 'N' Kicking deliver free healthy lifestyle programmes to children and young people aged 5-19 who are on/above 91st centile, for further information please click here.

Waverley Countryside Volunteers

If you want to help maintain local wildlife, make new friends, learn a new skill or just get some exercise - join Waverley Countryside Volunteers.

No experience is needed, just plenty of enthusiasm and some elbow grease. New volunteers are always welcome.

Conservation tasks are open to everyone from 16-80 years of age.
