Waverley Borough Council is working with its partners including Waverley Business Forum, Business Link Surrey and Enterprise First to ensure that local businesses can get timely and appropriate advice as the credit crunch bites.
Businesses that take early action have a much better chance of surviving economic downturns and those that prepare well can be well placed to relaunch as the economy improves.

- Waverley pays over 98% of its invoices within 30 days
- Waverley aims to help small businesses by paying even quicker where possible and 89% of invoices are paid within 10 days

Business Link run business clinics in Godalming and Farnham (Council offices) every month on the 3rd Tuesday (Godalming) and 3rd Wednesday ( Farnham). Businesses can undertake a full review during these meetings which cover aspects such as Strategy and Planning, Marketing and Customers,Process and Structure , People and Skills Finance and systems plus New Ideas.
