Local Enterprise Partnership
Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP)
Who are Enterprise M3
Enterprise M3 is the Local Enterprise Partnership covering almost all of Hampshire and most of Surrey. It is a partnership between the private, public and third sectors and their board of Directors is drawn from these sectors.
Growing Enterprise Fund
Enterprise M3 is managing a Growing Enterprise Fund of £21.7m.
The purpose of the fund is to kick start infrastructure and other projects that will drive economic growth, helping to create housing and jobs for local people. Projects need to have a direct impact on jobs and housing in the Enterprise M3 LEP area, as well as helping to deliver the Enterprise M3 LEP Business Plan. The Fund must be sustainable and funding therefore needs to be recycled so that the money can be used again for future projects.
The timetable for the awarding of funds is as follows:
- deadline for project proposals is Friday 8 June 2012
- first announcement on successful projects will made in summer 2012
Key Priorities
Enterprise M3 has set up sector groups looking at four key identified priorities:
- Skills
- Enterprise Support
- Infrastructure
- Red tape and planning
