Paint a Room scheme
What is the Paint a Room scheme?
We can decorate part of your house at a discounted price if you are a Waverley tenant and qualify for this scheme.
You can choose emulsion paint from a range of colours. If you would prefer wallpaper then you will need to provide this at your own cost.
Please note that:
- we can only work on previously decorated surfaces
- once decorated the same room/area may not be redecorated again for five years
Do I qualify for the Paint a Room scheme?
- Are you currently claiming housing benefit? or
- Are you registered disabled?
If you have answered 'yes' to one or both of the above then you can use this scheme.
How much does it cost?
The cost of redecorating:
- one room is £175 (including VAT)
- the hall, stairs and landing is £400 (including VAT).
You need to send payment by cheque or postal order when you apply. We are not able to offer payment in stages or instalments.
The cost of the scheme includes VAT at 20% and may be subject to change should the standard rate of VAT change.
How can I apply?
- Download the Paint a Room scheme application form.
- Call 0330 119 3000 to request a form.
Before completing the form please ensure that you qualify.
Once completed please send your form together with your cheque or postal order to:
