Local Plan Part 1: Examination
The Waverley Borough Local Plan Part 1: Strategic Policies and Sites was submitted to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, on 21 December 2016 for independent examination.

The Secretary of State has appointed Jonathan Bore to conduct the Examination to determine whether the Local Plan is sound.
We have appointed Mrs Claire Jones-Hughes of Banks Solutions to act as an independent Programme Officer. She will assist with the examination of documents.

Latest news on the Examination
On the 2 June 2017, the council received the 'Hearings Agenda' and 'Draft Hearings Programme' from the Inspector. These documents, along with others from the Inspector, can be viewed below.
Hearings to start on 27 June
In accordance with the regulations, hearings will start on Tuesday 27 June 2017 at 10am. The venue is the Council Chamber at Waverley's offices in Godalming.
