Local Plan Part 1: Examination
The Waverley Borough Local Plan Part 1: Strategic Policies and Sites was submitted to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, on 21 December 2016 for independent examination.
The hearings have now concluded, although this is not the end of the examination.
What happens next?
During the hearings, the Inspector gave his preliminary views on the matters discussed and has indicated that modifications will need to be made to the Plan. He has invited the council to submit a list of these proposed modifications. These modifications will be subject to public consultation. The date for this consultation on proposed modifications has not yet been set.
All representations on the proposed modifications will be taken into account by the Inspector before he issues his written report.
