Waverley's Local Plan is being prepared in two stages. Local Plan Part 1 (LPP1) deals with strategic sites and policies, whereas Local Plan Part 2 (LPP2) will allocate sites for housing and other uses to meet the requirements of LPP1. LPP2 will also look to allocate sites for Gypsy and Traveller accommodation.

In order to meet the timescale for preparing Preferred Options for LPP2, a cut-off date for submissions was established to feed into the allocation process. This was Friday 29 September 2017.

However, the call for sites remains open and sites submitted will be assessed at the next opportunity. Please note we are already aware of many sites across the Borough and sites need not be re-submitted

To submit a site, please complete the form below and return to planningpolicy@waverley.gov.uk or by post to Call for Sites, Planning Policy, Planning Services, Waverley Borough Council. The Burys, Godalming, GU7 1HR. Electronic submissions via email are preferred.

Guidelines for submission

  • Please complete a separate form for each site
  • If you have previously promoted a site to the Council, please do not re-submit.
  • Please include as much information as possible; you must also provide a location map that clearly identifies the site boundary.

Please be aware that any information you submit in response will be made publicly available by Waverley Borough Council and will be identifiable by name or organisation.

What happens next?
