Godalming Town Council as the qualifying body has prepared a neighbourhood development plan for its parish, entitled the Godalming and Farncombe Neighbourhood Plan, with the help of the local community. The plan covers the period from 2017 to 2032 and sets out a vision for the future of the parish and planning policies that will be used to determine planning applications locally.
The Godalming and Farncombe Neighbourhood Plan was formally submitted to Waverley and we are now running a statutory six week consultation from Friday 19 October to Friday 30 November 2018 (11.59pm).

Any representations may include a request to be notified of Waverley Borough Council's decision under Regulation 19 to make the neighbourhood development plan.
We are required to submit any representations made during the consultation period to the Independent Examiner appointed to examine the Neighbourhood Plan. Therefore your comments cannot be treated as confidential and will be made publically available, attributed to your name and/or organisation, however personal details will not be published.

|28 April - 11 June 2018||Godalming Town Council held a regulation 14 consultation on the Neighbourhood Plan to which Waverley responded.|
|30 May 2018||Waverley issued a formal Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Screening Opinion to Godalming Town Parish Council concluding that a Strategic Environmental Assessment is not required for the Neighbourhood Development Plan.|
