Dementia Friendly Champion

Waverley Borough Council has signed up to be a Dementia Friendly Champion as part of the Dementia Friendly Surrey Partnership.

What is Dementia Friendly Surrey?

In support of the Prime Minister’s Dementia Challenge, Surrey County Council and three of Surrey’s Clinical Commissioning Groups are embarking on a partnership project to develop dementia friendly communities across Surrey. Dementia Friendly Surrey aims to build supportive communities where people with dementia, their families and carers are understood, valued and can enjoy life.
