Work Experience
Work Experience at Waverley Borough Council
We are sometimes able to offer work experience in the following areas:
- Planning
- Countryside
- Leisure
- Administration
Our placements are structured so you get a real feel of what it is like to work for a local authority. You will have a designated manager who will be responsible for you during your placement and if you have any concerns after you start with us please speak to your manager immediately.
If you would like to undertake your placement at Waverley, please email Amie Payne at amie.payne@waverley.gov.uk with the following details:
- name and address
- preferred work area for placement
- dates of placement
- any special requirements
- named contact at school or college
- if you are under 16, the name and address of parent/guardian.
Please allow us a minimum of six weeks to arrange a placement.
