    Volunteer sessions usually take place on the fourth Thursday of every month, from 10:00 – 13:00. Sessions led by James.

    Bracken bashing: Bashing and crushing bracken to reduce its extent and spread. Meet at Blackheath Lane Car park, GU4 8RB.

    Thursday 28 July

    Bracken bashing: Bashing and crushing bracken to reduce its extent and spread. Meet at the firebreak along track off Sample Oak Lane, GU4 8QS.

    Thursday 23 August

    Bracken bashing: Bashing and crushing bracken to reduce its extent and spread. Meet at Littleford Lane layby, GU4 8QY.

    Thursday 27 September

    Pine pulling: Removing young pines to maintain open heather. Meet at Blackheath Lane Car park, GU4 8RB.

    Exhibition: Behind Closed Doors: 300 years of Willmer House

    Willmer_House_by_Thomas_HunterA hop grower’s residence, a school for young ladies, a dentist’s surgery; Since Willmer House was built in 1718 it has been many different things to different people. In this special exhibition celebrating 300 years of Willmer House, visitors will be able to learn more about the history of the building through material specially selected by pupils from Potters Gate School.
