    Help restore the much-loved Phillips Memorial Park in Godalming by joining in with other volunteers on the second Wednesday of the month from 10:00 – 13:00.

    Meet at the volunteer shed on The Burys next to the play area, GU7 1EE. Sessions led by James.

    Wednesday 10 October

    Boardwalk repairs and splitting herbaceous plants: Replacing damaged chicken wire and missing caps on the boardwalk around the wildlife pond, and splitting and moving Japanese anemones by the Cloister.

    Wednesday 14 November

    Rose planting: Planting new roses in the beds by St Peter & St Paul churchyard.

    Wednesday 12 December

    Bug hotel: Repairing and reinstalling the bug hotel near the library, and clearing grass from surface of winter aconite beds on the Burys Field.

    Wisteria pruning: Pruning the wisteria growing on the pergola in the Phillips Memorial Cloister.

    Wednesday 6 February 2019

    Burys Field hedgerow: Tidy the hedgerow along the boundary with Crown Court car park.

    Cornus coppicing: Coppicing the cornus (dog wood) in the winter sensory garden along the boundary with the library.
