    Volunteer sessions take place every Wednesday morning from 9:30 – 12:30 to assist in the management of this historic deer park.

    Meet at 9.30am at the Farnham Park ranger’s office in the main car park on Folly Hill (GU9 0AU) or check site noticeboards and meet at the work location at 10am.

    Wednesday 14 February

    Scrub clearance to benefit veteran trees: We will clear small trees and scrub from around one of the Parks majestic veteran oak trees, to ensure that this special elderly resident gets enough space and light to thrive and remain part of the historic park landscape for years to come. Led by Darren. Meet at the entrance from Nutshell Lane.

    Wednesday 28 February

    Scrub clearance: We will be clearing scrub to prepare for a replacement bridge over the Nadder stream. Led by Vicky. Meet at the entrance from Oast House Lane.

    Wednesday 7 March

    Oak thinning: We will be clearing scrub from around selected young oaks to allow then space to grow into future veteran parkland trees. Led by Darren. Meet at the entrance from Oast House Lane.

    Wednesday 28 March

    Oak thinning: We will be clearing scrub from around selected young oaks to allow then space to grow into future veteran parkland trees. Led by Vicky. Meet at the Deer Pond.
