Councillor Donal O'Neill

I'm resident in Farnham and retired from a full-time international business career in 2004.  I remain busy as a part-time academic in Britain and elsewhere and actively support Commonwealth development initiatives, especially in Africa.

I believe that Farnham and Waverley are great communities and wonderful places to live in - but that will only continue if we work for it.  I want to do all I can to ensure that Farnham in general, and Upper Hale in particular, are safe and pleasant environments.  In the wider Waverley context, I am keen to see energetic economic development and job-creation, especially in growth businesses and technologies, since without this no community can enjoy a sustained high living standard.
