Councillor Stephen O'Grady

Having grown up in Kent, where he attended the local grammar school, Stephen came to Farnham by way of London and Farnborough. He has lived in Farnham for ten years, with his wife, two daughters and a variety of cats and dogs.

He has a particular interest in matters affecting the disabled, and is keen that services should be provided in a transparent way to all in the community, and should be responsive to local needs.

He has a keen interest in road safety, and is a very active member of the Institute of Advance Motorists, both for cars and motorcycles, and would like to work to improve road safety in the area, whilst ensuring minimum inconvenience to all road users.

Cllr O'Grady is a member of the Executive with portfolio holder responsibility for IT and Green Spaces.  He is also a member of the Joint Planning Committee and Western Area Planning Committee.
