Local Offers

Local Offers are effectively local service standards which are not only agreed by tenants and leaseholders, but also scrutinised by them to ensure they are delivered.

We have made the best use of information tenants have already told us about how they rate services and what is important to them, i.e. STATUS survey in 2008/09, Fair to Fabulous survey of 2009/10.

We have also looked at what we do to provide high standards of service.

We want to hear your views and opinions on the Local Offers before they are put in place on 1st April 2011. Your feedback is important to us in shaping your housing service.

I am not sure what this is all about. If it is to do with requests for things to be done then I am afraid my comments would not be veyr positive.
For example I have asked for the gutters to be cleared...one overflow in particular is dangerous as it is making green slime on a concrete step. Still waiting...
As I am with a radiator being replaced...a problem that goes back YEARS rather than months.

D Gray, the Local Offers are about setting out what we as the council, will do for our tenants. We receive this information through surveys and consultations that we have carried out over the past few years.

All points of view are welcome and forms part of our consultation process. Our aim is to deliver a service that our customers want and not what we think you need.
