Trees - advice and information: Outline
Trees are a very important component of Waverley's landscape. Waverley is one of the most wooded parts of the United Kingdom, with 30% woodland cover (source: Surrey Wildlife Trust). This compares favourably with 8.7% woodland cover for England and 11.7% for the United Kingdom as a whole (source Forestry Commission 2008).
